Allied Esports Partners with Riot Games for VALORANT Ignition Series
Allied Esports is teaming up with Riot Games for the next installment of the VALORANT Ignition Series. The tournament, called Allied Esports Odyssey, will feature six of Europe’s top teams. G2 Esports, considered to be the best team in the world, and Team Liquid, led by ScreaM, will be the main attractions. Ninjas in Pyjamas and Giants Gaming will also vie for the title, while up-and-comers ZyppanGoKill and BBL Esports hope to cause some upsets. The competition will span five days and offer a prize pool of approximately $18,000.
Format
The tournament will have a few specific rules. Killjoy will be disabled for the duration of the event. In the group stage, all matches will be played in a best-of-two format. The playoffs will follow a double elimination structure, with the quarterfinals and semifinals being best-of-one matches, and the grand finals being a best-of-three encounter.

Schedule
The group stage of Allied Esports Odyssey will take place from August 11 to 15, starting at 10:30am CT each day. The tournament will conclude on August 16 with the semifinals and grand finals.
