Ex-OWL Player Rawkus Completes FaZe’s VALORANT Roster

FaZe Clan Signs Rawkus as Final Player for Pro VALORANT Roster

Today, FaZe Clan announced the official signing of Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty, completing their five-person pro VALORANT roster.

Rawkus, a former Overwatch League pro, joins his former OWL teammates Andrej “Babybay” Francisty, Corey Nigra, and Zachary “ZachaREEE” Lombardo, as well as retired CS:GO pro Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen, on the FaZe Clan VALORANT team.

Rawkus is the latest former Overwatch League pro to transition to VALORANT, following in the footsteps of reigning OWL MVP Sinatraa who made the switch in April during the VALORANT beta.

Previously, Rawkus played for FaZe’s Overwatch team from 2016 to 2018. He spent three OWL seasons with the Houston Outlaws before retiring from the league on Aug. 1.

The new FaZe VALORANT team will make their debut tomorrow during the FaZe Clan VALORANT Invitational. You can catch the tournament from Aug. 6 to 9 at 4pm CT on both the FaZe and VALORANT Twitch channels.
