This Latest VALORANT Night.Market Image Could Be Previewing a New Map

VALORANT Players Speculate on Next Map Based on Night.Market Image

Players of the popular game VALORANT have been buzzing with excitement after noticing a new image in the Night.Market. Many believe that this image might be a teaser for the game’s next map due to the unfamiliar flora in the background, which does not match any of the current maps.

VALORANT lore enthusiast Cynprel pointed out that the plants in the Night.Market teaser image do not resemble the ones on Breeze, where most players assumed the image was taken. These plants have a more “fern-like” appearance, suggesting that they may be referencing an unreleased map.

Clues in Previous Teasers

In previous teaser art and backgrounds, players have already spotted hints about the next map in VALORANT. The VALORANT Year One Anthem video showcased an elevated location with Radiante leaking into the sky, leading many to believe that this is the upcoming battleground. Furthermore, a player card shows a road leading toward the same area, further reinforcing the significance of the location.

Although the flora in these images bears a resemblance to the plants in the Night.Market poster, it should be noted that Riot Games has not officially confirmed any details regarding the next map.

Riot’s Tradition of Teasing

Riot Games has a tradition of teasing new agents and maps before their release, often through small Easter eggs and secrets. For example, Breeze was hinted at through various beach teasers, and KAY/O’s knife was discovered stuck in a crate before the agent was officially introduced. While the Night.Market theory might be a bit of a stretch, it’s still an enjoyable speculation for fans.
