AxB released by Version1 due to poor results

Version1 Releases AxB from Its Rocket League Roster

Version1, a relatively new addition to the esports scene, has made a significant change to its Rocket League roster. Alexandre “AxB” Bellemare has been released from the team before the start of the Rocket League Championship Series Winter Split.

AxB joined Version1 after leaving Spacestation Gaming in July. Unfortunately, his time with Version1 did not result in any success for the team.

The Decision to Part Ways

Version1 announced the decision to part ways with AxB via their official Twitter account. They thanked AxB for being a part of the team’s first version and wished him luck in his future endeavors.

A Struggle for Success

After acquiring the former Rat Enterprises squad on August 8, Version1 had high hopes with players like Jesus “gimmick” Parra and coach Jayson “Fireburner” Nunez on their roster, along with Kyle “Torment” Storer. AxB joined the team on the same day, and they began competing in various tournament qualifiers and preparing for The Grid NA.

However, over the last three months, Version1’s performance has been lackluster. They only managed to place above fifth once in an event, and they were unable to make it out of the group stage in any of the three NA Regionals. Due to these disappointing results, the organization has decided to move on.

AxB’s Response

AxB has expressed his gratitude to Version1 for the opportunity and has voiced his respect for their decision to release him. He plans to make a tweet soon regarding his future plans.

A Sought-After Name

Now that AxB is a free agent, he may be in high demand by other organizations or teams looking to compete in NA qualifiers for Winter Split events. His skills and experience make him a valuable addition to any roster.
