This isn’t the first time VALORANT has drawn inspiration from anime. Their skin line, VALORANT GO!, transformed several agents into a more anime style for their weapon skins. They even created chibi gun buddies representing the agents, showcasing the influence of Japanese culture.

Now, a Reddit user named emikoyaki has taken this inspiration to the next level by creating an anime opening featuring multiple agents. Anime openings typically include scenes that will happen later in the show or highlight the characters. They are often accompanied by Japanese music, and emikoyaki’s VALORANT opening follows this trend.

The anime opening begins by briefly introducing Jett, Reyna, and Sage in different locations. Sage appears to be near Ascent based on the background. The sequence then transitions to an island with the VALORANT logo and the words “The Animation” below it. Fans can see Sova, Killjoy, and Viper on popular VALORANT maps, while the remaining agents each have their own short cutscene, displaying them in battle or in a friendlier light. The animation concludes with a player wearing a Sentinels jersey and a final scene of Jett biting onto her glove.

In addition to the elements commonly found in anime openings, this fanmade sequence features a unique art style that complements the music and ambiance. It has sparked a desire among some fans for an official VALORANT anime.
