‘Experiencing Unrestricted Freedom’: Resolut1on Applauds Puppey’s Dota Leadership Upon Joining Team Secret

Dota 2 Star Resolut1on Impressed by Captain Puppey’s Leadership Style

Dota 2 player Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok recently joined Team Secret, replacing Daryl “iceiceice” Koh in the offlane position. Resolut1on had heard that Team Secret captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov was an autocratic leader, but he was pleasantly surprised by his experience with Puppey’s leadership style.

In an interview with Escorenews, Resolut1on shared that he felt a sense of freedom while playing with Puppey. Unlike his expectations, Puppey doesn’t tell people what to do; instead, he focuses on making team calls. Resolut1on finds it comfortable to play with Puppey and appreciates not being micro-managed like in his previous teams.

Although Puppey can be direct at times, especially when pointing out mistakes in hindsight, Resolut1on sees it as a positive quality. Puppey’s ability to analyze games and openly discuss what went wrong helps the team improve faster. Resolut1on emphasized that Puppey’s intention is not to be rude but to encourage better performance from the team.

Resolut1on also spoke highly of his new Secret teammates. He described Michał “Nisha” Jankowski as a dedicated and skilled player, while Remco “Crystallis” Arets brings a fresh perspective to the team. Baqyt “Zayac” Emiljanov is praised for his intuitive gameplay and fearlessness.

Team Secret’s previous roster did not qualify for the PGL Arlington Major 2022. However, with the addition of Resolut1on and the other new signings, the team has high hopes for future competitions.
