How to Secure an MVP in Rocket League with Ease

Rocket League Goes Free-to-Play with Epic Games Exclusive

Rocket League recently made the switch to free-to-play (F2P) on Sept. 24, becoming an exclusive game on Epic Games and no longer available for purchase on Steam. To celebrate this milestone, Epic and Psyonix collaborated on a Fortnite-themed event within Rocket League called Llama-Rama.

Completing the event’s five challenges not only rewards players with in-game cosmetics but also unlocks Rocket League-themed items in Fortnite.

If you want to unlock the Battle Bus vehicle, all eyes are on the final challenge called “Llama Legend.” This challenge requires players to earn MVP in any online match while using the Llama Wheels on their vehicles. The Llama Wheels become available after completing the fourth challenge, which involves winning five online matches in any playlist.

Tips to Quickly Get MVP in Rocket League

If you have a rank above Diamond, getting MVP in a casual match should only take around 20 minutes. However, new or returning players may struggle to achieve their first MVP.

Unfortunately, there are no tricks to instantly get MVP. You’ll need to play a matchmade game that is not one-vs-one. To increase your chances, try queuing for a two-vs-two match with a friend who can assist you. By coordinating, you can focus on scoring goals and making saves, significantly improving your odds of earning MVP if your team wins. Winning is crucial unless you have an exceptional performance.

If you’re not confident in your goal-scoring abilities, you can stay in the goal and aim to make as many saves as possible. However, ensure that your friend doesn’t score too many goals and take away your chances of being the MVP on the field.

In a last attempt to complete the quest quickly, you can try asking the opposition team to go easy on you. However, keep in mind that the competitive nature of Rocket League makes this option unlikely.

To claim the Battle Bus, you’ll need to earn MVP through the Llama-Rama event page located in the Battle Pass section of the in-game menu.
