Potential trial: FaZe Flyuh joins SoaR as a possible replacement for Stellar

Former FaZe Clan leader flyuh to trial with SoaR in VALORANT roster

Multiple sources have revealed that Xavier “flyuh” Carlson, former in-game leader for FaZe Clan, will be trialing with SoaR to potentially replace Brenden “stellar” McGrath on the organization’s VALORANT roster.

Flyuh has already signed up with SoaR and will be participating in the first Nerd Street Summer Championship Open of the year, which is scheduled to start later today.

According to a report by , stellar is currently in contract negotiations with fellow North American team, 100 Thieves, and is expected to join the team once the negotiations are finalized. The report states that stellar has been practicing alongside Sean “bang” Bezerra, Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk, William Cheng, and Derrek Ha.

Since FaZe is set to acquire Kevin “POISED” Ngo and Phat “supamen” Le from Rise, flyuh has been placed on the bench. also reported that Andrew “ShoT_Up” Orlowski, another former teammate of flyuh, is on the radar of NYFU.

SoaR has a reputation for producing talented players in North America. Notable players who have emerged from SoaR include Matthew “Cryocells” Panganiban, who joined XSET in December, and Alexander “zander” Dituri, who joined Version1 in the same month.

SoaR will be competing in the NSG Summer Championship Open, which kicks off today and runs until April 14. The tournament will also feature other prominent teams such as TSM, Akrew, T1, Complexity, and TSM Academy.

SoaR’s first match in the group stage will be against the free agent team, Super Monkey FanClub. If they win, they will face the winners of the matchup between Moonrise and Go 4 Broke.
