VALORANT’s Latest Skin Bundle Soars at a Steep $95 Price Tag

VALORANT’s First Ultra Edition Skin Bundle Drops Tomorrow

The highly anticipated Elderflame skin collection for VALORANT will be released tomorrow. However, it comes with a hefty price tag.

The Elderflame collection, featuring dragon-themed skins, will cost players a staggering 9990 VP, which is roughly $95. This makes it the most expensive bundle in the game, with each individual skin averaging around 2,475 VP ($24).

VALORANT has five skin tiers, with Ultra Edition being one step below the highest tier, Exclusive.

While $95 may seem steep, the high quality of the Elderflame skins justifies the price. Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, has a history of releasing expensive skins in its popular game, League of Legends, with ultimate skins priced at 3,250 RP or $25.

However, other free-to-play games like Apex Legends offer much cheaper skin options. The most expensive weapon skin in Apex Legends costs $18. Similarly, games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite have considerably cheaper skins.

The Elderflame bundle will be available for purchase on Friday, July 10. It includes weapon skins for the Frenzy, Judge, Vandal, Operator, and a melee weapon. Each skin features unique reload animations and showcases an unprecedented level of quality for VALORANT fans.

When players upgrade the skins using Radianite, which can be obtained through the battle pass or purchased in the VALORANT store, the skins gain new animations, sounds, and visual aesthetics. This includes an impressive fire-breathing finishing blow animation reminiscent of Smaug from The Hobbit.
