Valorant players discover game-breaking bug granting KAY/O over 800 health.

Riot Games Discovers Game-Breaking KAY/O Bug

VALORANT players have recently noticed a major bug involving the agent KAY/O. This bug, which is likely caused by KAY/O’s ultimate ability, grants the robot an abnormally high amount of health, reaching over 800. Many reports of this bug surfaced after Patch 3.01 was released yesterday.

KAY/O Bug Exposed by Players

A video posted by a player last night showcased the bug in action. During a gunfight, the player shot at KAY/O six times with a Vandal, dealing 474 damage, including two headshots. However, despite this damage, KAY/O managed to survive and eliminate the player.

Other players playing as KAY/O also shared their own perspectives of the bug. They discovered that the bug grants KAY/O over 800 health in addition to the agent’s base HP of 100 and shield of 50. The NULL/cmd ultimate of KAY/O appears to be responsible for triggering the bug. When KAY/O takes fatal damage, it can be knocked down, and teammates have the ability to revive the agent. During this incapacitated state, KAY/O gains a significant amount of health.

Potential Impact on Competitive Play and Riot’s Response

The bug poses a significant risk to the competitive scene, especially since KAY/O recently made its debut in the VCT Korea tournament. If this bug continues to disrupt competitive matchmaking, Riot may choose to disable KAY/O until a hotfix is implemented.
