Psyonix reveals Rocket League’s winter 2019 roadmap

Rocket League Season 12: What to Expect

As Rocket League approaches its fifth anniversary, Psyonix has some surprises in store for the end of season 12 of competitive play and free DLC.

In a new announcement, Psyonix revealed that players who have ranked in any competitive mode will receive an animated decal that can be equipped on any customizable vehicle.

If you haven’t achieved your desired rank yet, you still have some time. Competitive season 12 is expected to end around December 5.

Before the end of the year, Psyonix plans to release all three original DLC packs, Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars, and Chaos Run for free. These packs are no longer available for purchase.

To help players navigate through their inventories, Psyonix will introduce an archiving system, as well as Blueprints, later in 2019.

After the Haunted Hallows event, Rocket League will kick off Frosty Fest 2019 in December, a winter-themed celebration that will continue into the new year.

Rocket League fans can also look forward to two major events. First up, the Collegiate Rocket League National Championship on November 9. Then, the top professional teams will compete in the Rocket League Championship Series World Championship in Madrid, Spain from December 13 to December 15.

Tickets for both events are now available for purchase.
