Reportedly, TSM’s VALORANT team conducted trials with BBG’s Critical and Noble’s LeviathanAG.

TSM Seeks New Player for VALORANT Lineup

TSM is in search of a new player to fill the vacant spot in its VALORANT lineup. Taylor “drone” Johnson was moved to the bench on July 5, leaving the team with an opening. According to a report by George Geddes, the organization has tried out Tristan “Critical” Trinacty from Built By Gamers and Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya from Noble as potential replacements.

Critical and LeviathanAG as Possible Candidates

It appears that the competition for the spot is likely between Tristan “Critical” Trinacty and Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya, as stated by Geddes. Critical has been a part of Built By Gamers since November 2020 and has been a valuable asset to the team, contributing to their victories in minor tournaments such as the Nerd Street Games Summer Championship Open. His preferred agent is Sova, and he has consistently used this agent in 95.6 percent of his matches over the past three months. According to VLR.gg’s statistics, Critical has achieved a 1.17 K/D ratio and an impressive 152.6 ADR.

Aleko “LeviathanAG” Gabuniya recently joined Noble from EZ5. He made his entrance just in time for the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers One open qualifier. Similar to Critical, LeviathanAG also favors Sova as his agent of choice, utilizing this agent in 88.7 percent of his matches over the past three months. His performance has been commendable, with a 1.21 K/D ratio and a 148.3 ADR, according to VLR.gg’s statistics.

Tough Competition and Future Challenges

Both Built By Gamers and Noble have experienced disappointment in not qualifying for the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers One main event. Built By Gamers was eliminated by 100 Thieves, while Noble was eliminated by Rise. As a result, neither team has any VCT matches scheduled in the near future, similar to TSM.

Looking Ahead

TSM is determined to secure a permanent fifth player ahead of the next qualifier for NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers. The current VALORANT lineup for TSM includes James “hazed” Cobb, Matthew “Wardell” Yu, Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik, and Sean “bang” Bezerra, who was recruited prior to the NA VCT Stage Three: Challengers One open qualifier.
