Guide: Activating Streamer Mode in VALORANT

How to Increase Privacy in VALORANT

Privacy is a key concern for many gamers, regardless of the game they play. In VALORANT, players have the option to increase their privacy and enjoy the game without revealing their real identities. This is particularly useful for streamers who want to hide their real names and simply enjoy the game like any other player.

Currently, VALORANT does not have a specific streamer mode. However, players can still hide their names from players outside of their party and enable generic names for others outside of their party. To access these options, go to the general tab in the settings menu. It’s important to note that these changes will only take effect in your next match, so be sure to enable them before queuing.

Hiding your name will replace it with the name of the agent you’re using. For instance, if you’re playing as Reyna, your in-game name will appear as Reyna to anyone outside of your party. Using generic names for others outside of your party is a great way to avoid seeing inappropriate names, especially when playing in front of an audience.

VALORANT players can customize these privacy options to suit their needs. Additionally, they have the ability to auto-reject friend requests and only allow party requests from friends. This helps prevent spam invites from fans or random players, which can be quite disruptive. Feel free to experiment with the available privacy options to find the perfect setup for you.
