Streamer Thug’s Invite to PUBG Mobile India Tour National Finals Allegedly Canceled

Animesh “Thug” Agarwal, a popular mobile streamer, has reportedly had his guest invite for the PUBG Mobile India Tour (PMIT) 2019 national finals revoked due to his streaming Call of Duty: Mobile.

Thug is the owner of 8bit and one of the teams under the organization, 8BitRampage, will be participating in the national finals as the top seed from Group B. 8bitRampage is highly regarded and is expected to win the People’s Choice Award at the PMIT national finals.

The PMIT 2019 is the largest PUBG Mobile tournament in India to date, with a prize pool of approximately $210,000.

Thug, who has nearly 170,000 subscribers on YouTube and has been streaming Call of Duty: Mobile after streaming PUBG Mobile for the past few days, announced on his Instagram account that he found out about the cancellation of his invite while traveling to the PMIT venue.

Call of Duty: Mobile, the latest mobile shooter game, has already surpassed 100 million downloads since its release on October 1.
