Nintendo Switch to welcome Rocket League

Rocket League Coming to Nintendo Switch

One of the world’s fastest growing esports, Rocket League, will soon be available on the Nintendo Switch console. Psyonix, the developers of Rocket League, made the announcement at Nintendo’s E3 press conference earlier today. The game is set to be released for the Switch by the end of this year.

The Nintendo Switch version of Rocket League will offer the same features, upgrades, and content as the other platforms, but with some exclusive custom cars and items. The trailer for the game showed a blue and red car with a Mario hat on top, showcasing the potential for customization items unique to the Nintendo Switch version.

Rocket League for the Nintendo Switch will take advantage of the console’s portable mode, allowing up to eight players to compete against each other in local multiplayer. The game will also support cross-play capabilities, enabling players to compete against opponents on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Fans of Rocket League can look forward to more details about the Nintendo Switch port in the near future. The trailer suggests that the game will be available on the Switch by the end of 2017.
