VALORANT Player Beats Spike Defuse Challenge on Hard Without Weapons or Abilities
VALORANT’s Shooting Range is typically used by players to improve their aim and practice in-game strategies, but one player has found a unique way to utilize it for stealth training. A Reddit user known as reLoLface recently showcased their impressive achievement of completing the Spike Defuse portion of the Shooting Range without using any weapons or abilities. To make the challenge even more difficult, they set the difficulty level for the bots to Hard. After numerous attempts, reLoLface finally succeeded and shared a video of their successful run for other players to enjoy.
For those who want to try this challenge themselves, it begins in the Spike Defuse portion of the Shooting Range. Since weapons and abilities are prohibited, players must survive against the onslaught of bots and defuse the spike within the time limit. However, it’s not as simple as it sounds.
The key to overcoming this seemingly impossible challenge is to carefully sneak around the bots while wielding only a knife. As demonstrated by the player, this strategy, combined with staying undetected, is the recipe for success.
To begin, players should purchase the maximum shield (50 shield) and swiftly bunny-hop around the starting corner to take cover behind a raised ledge. From there, they will need to jump onto the ledge and onto the first bot’s head to eliminate it with a knife. Then, the player must sneak around the generator and crouch under the vandal of the second bot to remain hidden. A few knife strikes to the chest will defeat the AI, leaving only one bot at the top of the stairs near the bomb. By jumping onto the barrel, the player can remain out of sight and deliver the final blow to the remaining bot’s back. With all the bots eliminated, the spike can now be defused.
