Riot issues widespread bans to over 200 cheaters in VALORANT

VALORANT’s Anti-Cheat System Bans over 200 Players for New Pixel Bot Cheat

Good news for VALORANT players! Last night, Vanguard, the anti-cheat system for VALORANT, detected and banned over 200 players who were using a new pixel bot cheat. This cheat allowed players to easily lock onto enemies, giving them an unfair advantage.

Cheating is a widespread issue in almost every video game. It ruins the experience for fair players and creates an unfair gaming environment. Riot Games, the developer of VALORANT, is aware of this problem and has taken measures to combat cheaters.

During the closed beta of VALORANT, Riot banned thousands of players for using different cheating software. Additionally, they implemented Vanguard, a new anti-cheat system that automatically bans suspected cheaters.

Vanguard has already proven its effectiveness, as it detected the new pixel bot cheat and banned over 200 users. These cheaters have received hardware bans, which means any account they create on their computer will be instantly banned.

A player who had access to a private Discord where the cheating software was sold shared screenshots of the cheaters’ reactions to the ban. Many cheaters expressed anger and frustration for having their cheat detected and their ability to play VALORANT ruined. However, it’s important to note that cheating in the game has consequences.

Vanguard initially faced criticism for being too strict, but it appears to be effectively maintaining the integrity of the game. VALORANT players can now feel more confident that cheaters will be swiftly and silently banned before they can spoil the gaming experience.
