Yoru’s Creativity Shines in VALORANT with Tricky Plays

In the world of VALORANT, Yoru may not be the most popular pick in competitive matches, but his potential for creativity cannot be denied.

One such trick play, shared on the VALORANT subreddit, is sure to leave your opponents dumbfounded. While you may only be able to use this play once per map, the satisfaction it brings is priceless. The play was shared by Reddit user xdman9765, who cleverly hides in the cubby on B Main.

Instead of sending his clone forward, Yoru strategically places the Fakeout spawn point in a commonly used hiding spot. He then positions himself behind it, utilizing the half-wall to keep the decoy in place. When the attacking team checks the hiding spot and shoots the decoy, they have no clue that the real Yoru is waiting right there.

In this play, Yoru takes a risk by wide-swinging the attackers in B Main, managing to eliminate three of them. Since the attacking team doesn’t expect Yoru to be there after shooting the decoy, they are unprepared for the situation.

The Reddit user behind this play admits in the comments that it’s a “one-time thing” and unlikely to work again. However, variations of this play can be attempted in different spots on the map and in other matches as well. Just remember that it’s not something you can rely on repeatedly in a single map, unless your opponents are inexperienced.
