The Rise of Rocket League as an eSports
Rocket League has quickly gained fame as an eSport since its release. The game, which combines car soccer with futuristic elements, has garnered a large player and viewer base. Major League Gaming (MLG) is now taking the lead by hosting the official Rocket League Pro League.
MLG has provided a tentative schedule for the upcoming events:
- Sept 3 – Thursday – EU Qualifier at 2pmET, NA Qualifier at 6pmET
- Sept 8 – Tuesday – Pro League Day 1
- Sept 10 – Thursday – Pro League Day 2
- Sept 15 – Tuesday – Pro League Day 3
- Sept 22 – Tuesday – Pro League Day 4
- Sept 23rd – Wednesday – Pro League Day 5
- Sept 24th – Thursday – Pro League Day 6
- Sept 29th – Tuesday – Pro League Day 7
- Oct 1st – Thursday – Pro League Day 8
- Oct 10th – Saturday – Rocket League International Finals
