Ninja dons ice cream costume for surprise performance on The Masked Singer season 2 premiere

Twitch Streamer Ninja Eliminated from The Masked Singer

Popular streamer and former professional Halo player, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, showcased his hidden talent on national television in the season two premiere of The Masked Singer. The TV show involves celebrities disguising themselves in costumes while singing, challenging fans to guess their identities.

The first episode of season two aired after T-Pain, dressed as a monster, emerged as the winner in the previous season. Ninja, dressed as an ice cream cone, was one of eight celebrities to perform in the premiere. During his first-round matchup against a mystery contestant in a tree costume, Ninja performed “Old Town Road.” However, the studio audience voted against him, leading to an elimination smackdown against another unknown celebrity dressed as a ladybug. Ninja then sang “Whip It,” but the judges favored the ladybug.

Reflecting on his experience, Ninja expressed that appearing on The Masked Singer and singing on stage was the scariest thing he had ever done. Despite being eliminated, Ninja’s performance on the show surprised many fans. You can catch season two of The Masked Singer on FOX every Wednesday at 7pm CT.

At the end of the show, Ninja was unmasked along with American figure skater Johnny Weir. Although his time on the show was short-lived, Ninja managed to captivate the audience with his unexpected singing abilities.
