VALORANT Gamers Discover Bug Allowing Wallhack-Level Vision of Enemy Positions

KAY/O Bug in VALORANT: Seeing Through Walls

VALORANT Episode Three is off to a great start with new content and balance changes. However, it appears that the introduction of the killer robot KAY/O has brought a game-breaking glitch along with it.

One player discovered a bug involving KAY/O that allows you to see an enemy’s position through walls when they’re suppressed. Ryan Cousart, a game designer for VALORANT, responded to a Reddit post about the bug, assuring players that the issue will be investigated and fixed.

When an opponent is suppressed by KAY/O’s ZERO/point or NULL/cmd ultimate, a triangle hovers above them, indicating that they are unable to use abilities. The bug allows players to see this indicator through walls, providing them with knowledge of the enemy’s location and enabling them to eliminate them through the wall.

Not only is this glitch specific to KAY/O, but there is also evidence of another issue where players can see opponents through walls on the Bind map’s Tube area, even when they are not suppressed. This problem seems to have started with Episode Three’s Patch 3.0 update and has a negative impact on competitive matchmaking.

Awaiting a Fix

The exact cause of this bug is still unclear, but it is expected that Riot Games will release a hotfix to patch it out as soon as possible.
