Gaia’s Vengeance Bundle: New Skins for VALORANT Weapons

The bundle includes skins for the Vandal, Ghost, Marshal, Guardian, and a brand new melee weapon. Each weapon comes with three different variants in addition to the base option. But that’s not all, each gun also has four upgradeable levels. As you progress through the levels, new details are added to the skins. At level four, you’ll unlock a special kill banner and finisher. The variants also have unique finishers that match their colors, giving you the opportunity to experiment and find your favorite. The melee weapon can also be upgraded, unlocking new visual effects and audio when equipped, attacked, or inspected.
Preeti Khanolkar, the senior producer of VALORANT, shared insights about the development process and the inspiration behind the Gaia’s Vengeance bundle. According to Khanolkar, the team wanted to create a skin line that felt mysterious, magical, intricate, and powerful. After completing the work on the skins, they were named Gaia’s Vengeance, capturing the balance between elegance and danger, resulting in a hauntingly beautiful design.
Initially, the Gaia’s Vengeance bundle was intended to be released without any reload, equip, or inspect animations. It was also lacking unique audio, finisher, and kill banner. However, the team recognized its potential and decided to delay the release in order to work on a more ambitious idea. This shows the dedication of the developers to deliver the best possible experience to the players.
The Gaia’s Vengeance bundle is priced at 7,100 VP and will be available starting March 1. As a bonus, players who purchase the bundle will unlock an exclusive player card, gun buddy, and spray.
