In Trouble: Rise, Knights, NRG, 100 Thieves, Evil Geniuses
The teams in this group are facing an uphill battle. It is likely that the four teams from this group will miss out on the playoffs, unless the teams above them suffer major setbacks.
EG had a great performance against Cloud9, but they couldn’t stop C9’s mitch and leaf from dominating the game. 100T came close to their first win, but couldn’t close the deal. Despite this, both teams showed promise with their new additions. NRG has had close matches and could have easily been 2-1 instead of 0-3. Knights and Rise faced each other and Knights came out on top. The fate of these teams will depend on their upcoming matches against NRG, Sentinels, and OpTic.
In the Middle: OpTic, Sentinels, XSET, Luminosity
OpTic, Sentinels, XSET, and Luminosity are comfortably positioned to secure playoff spots in the coming weeks.
Sentinels and OpTic had an intense series, with OpTic coming out on top after a dominant performance on Bind. Luminosity has been solid with a 2-1 record and a strong team Average Combat Score (ACS). XSET may have a 1-2 record, but they faced tough opponents in Cloud9 and The Guard. Their upcoming matches against Luminosity and 100T will determine their playoff chances.
On Top and Ready: Cloud9, The Guard, Version1
Three teams have already secured their spots in the playoffs with perfect 3-0 records.
Both Cloud9 and The Guard have performed exceptionally well, dominating their opponents in the group stage. Version1 faced a tough challenge against NRG but came out victorious. These teams will continue to battle in the coming weeks for their final positions in the playoffs.
