Winstrike reveals newly formed Dota 2 team with NoMarci addition

Winstrike Signs New Dota 2 Roster for Upcoming Season

With the new Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) season just days away in the Eastern European region, Winstrike is finalizing its roster. The organization recently signed a new team for the upcoming season, which includes Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev.

Only six days before the season officially starts, Winstrike acquired the newly formed team, NoMarci. The squad had already been competing in Dota 2 Champions League Season five before joining Winstrike. Despite their short time together, the team has shown promising results, which could help Winstrike return to the first division.

The New Winstrike Roster

  • Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin – Position one
  • Amir “Dodren” Akmolin – Position two
  • Evgeny “Noticed” Ignatenko – Position three
  • Maxim “forcemajor” Meretsky – Position four
  • Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev – Position five
    • Andrey “Mag” Chipenko (coach)

The roster features a balanced mix of new talent and experienced players. Daxak and SoNNeikO have previous experience competing in international events, and the team is coached by Mag, a highly respected offlaner in the region. Winstrike will begin the season in the second division, with further scheduling details to be announced after the open qualifiers.

The open qualifiers will determine the remaining three teams in the lower division of the Eastern European region, as EXTREMUM had to withdraw due to a lack of a squad. This increases the available open qualifier spots to three.

Despite Winstrike’s recent struggles and seventh place finish in the first DPC season, the organization has performed well in recent years. Following the results, Winstrike said goodbye to its previous roster, allowing the members to pursue their own paths.
