DRX Vision Strikers Reportedly Set to Add BeYN as Substitute

Korean VALORANT Team DRX Vision Strikers Adds Trainee BeYN as Substitute

Korean VALORANT powerhouse DRX Vision Strikers is set to add trainee Kang “BeYN” Ha-Bin to their roster as a substitute, according to multiple sources. BeYN joined DRX Vision Strikers as a trainee in May 2021 and has showcased impressive skills, notably in the National ShotVAL Pride tournament where he secured a second-place finish with a remarkable 1.39 K/D.

BeYN is known for his duelist playstyle, particularly excelling with Jett and Raze. With his versatile agent pool, he can potentially step in for Yu “BuZz” Byung-Chul on specific maps. This addition to the roster is expected to bring more firepower to DRX Vision Strikers in the upcoming 2022 VCT season.

Success and Setbacks in 2021

DRX Vision Strikers had a successful 2021, starting the year by winning the VCT Masters One trophy after a close battle against NUTURN. However, their journey took a turn during VCT Challengers Two, where NUTURN eliminated them from the Masters Reykjavík contention. Despite this setback, DRX Vision Strikers made a strong comeback, securing a place at VCT Masters Berlin. In Berlin, they fell short in the quarterfinals against eventual champions Gambit Esports but secured a spot at VCT Champions through Circuit Points.

Unfortunately, the Korean organization faced disappointment at VCT Champions, failing to advance past the group stage with narrow losses against Fnatic and Cloud9, ultimately concluding their 2021 campaign.

Bringing in BeYN for 2022

To enhance their roster for 2022, DRX Vision Strikers has added BeYN as a substitute player. The organization believes that his skills and firepower will contribute to their success in the upcoming season.

Update: BeYN will be added as a substitute and not as an active sixth man for DRX Vision Strikers’ lineup.
