Sentinels’ VALORANT season hits end of the line with disappointing Will vs TenZ battle outcome

VALORANT: Sentinels Knocked Out of VCT Last Chance Qualifiers by 100 Thieves

Sentinels, one of the top VALORANT teams, suffered a heartbreaking loss against 100 Thieves in a knockout match of the VCT Last Chance Qualifiers.

The match was intense, with both teams battling it out neck and neck on the maps. The score line reflected the competitive nature of the match.

The match was filled with exciting moments, from TenZ’s precise shots to William “Will” Cheng’s chaotic Jett gameplay. Fans were entertained regardless of the team they were rooting for.

Unfortunately, the Sentinels’ journey in the VCT competition ended with this defeat.

The Sentinels showed incredible mental endurance, making a comeback on Fracture but faltering halfway through Breeze. 100 Thieves managed to win the second map after a back and forth battle, and they ultimately secured a convincing lead in the third map.

100 Thieves not only gave up their lead during the match but also squandered what should have been an easy finish to a round on Haven. In a tense standoff, Zellsis managed to eliminate both stellar and Derrek Ha with a single bullet, despite having only one health remaining.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough in the end.

The Sentinels lost the map 13-11, and now 100 Thieves will proceed to face the winner of the Cloud9 vs. NRG match in the lower bracket. They will need to win that game and the next one to secure a place in the grand final for a chance at Champions.
