Criticism of United States Foreign Policy
It is likely that HasanAbi’s Twitch channel was suspended due to his criticism of the United States’ foreign policy. He specifically called out the country’s hypocritical stance in maintaining Saudi Arabia as an ally.

Controversial Rant Leads to Suspension
HasanAbi’s suspension was a direct result of a contentious rant he made in response to Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast. Crenshaw defended America’s practice of maintaining military bases in over 100 countries.
During his rant, HasanAbi remarked, “This is so insane. America deserved 9/11, dude… Look at the way that this dipshit is running his fucking mouth, justifying genocide right now.”
Despite acknowledging his choice of words, HasanAbi stood behind his criticism that the American government supported terrorism before and after 9/11.
Response from Rep. Dan Crenshaw
In an interview with Fox News, Rep. Dan Crenshaw responded to HasanAbi’s comments, dismissing them as the response of a triggered leftist who lacks understanding of history and foreign policy.
Crenshaw also took the opportunity to criticize YouTube for providing a platform to the “highly radical” Young Turks to discuss controversial topics.
Duration of Suspension Still Unknown
As of now, it is unclear how long HasanAbi’s Twitch ban will last. Twitch has not released any information regarding the duration of the suspension.
Update Aug. 23 1pm CT: According to his Discord, HasanAbi has received a seven-day Twitch ban.
