How to Access and Complete the Through Pain to Heaven Quest in Cyberpunk 2077
In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, the Through Pain to Heaven quest is available only if you chose to side with Reed over Songbird. To unlock this quest, you must save Songbird from Hansen, hand her over to Alex without killing her, and complete the Killing Moon quest.
Completing the Quest
After the credits, the Through Pain to Heaven quest serves as an epilogue. It involves meeting up with Solomon Reed and having a conversation with him. Once the conversation is complete, the quest ends.
Waiting for the Call
After gaining control of V, you must wait at least 24 in-game hours before Reed contacts you. Sometimes, it may take longer, so you might need to wait a few more in-game days or complete other sidequests.
Meeting Solomon Reed
When Reed finally calls, you can meet him at the CH002 station at South Cali Way. He will be working on his vehicle with the hood open.
Reed expresses his remorse for the events that transpired in Phantom Liberty and reveals his desire to leave the city. He explains his motivations and his ruthless actions, which you understand since you chose to side with him.
Johnny Silverhand also appears and shows sympathy towards Reed. He admits feeling sorry for Reed and even says he’s going to hang himself for working with corrupt individuals. You can continue the conversation by choosing various dialogue options with Johnny to explore his feelings on the matter. This raises the question of whether helping Songbird would have been the better choice.
