New talent in VALORANT joins Paper Rex for VCT Pacific League

Paper Rex adds Russian pro to VALORANT roster

Singapore-based esports organization, Paper Rex, has announced the addition of 21-year-old Russian pro player Ilya Petrov to their VALORANT roster. Petrov will join his new teammates in Seoul, South Korea for the VCT Pacific League, which kicks off on March 25.

Exciting prospects for Paper Rex

Paper Rex now boasts a roster of seven players, including Petrov, to compete in the VCT Pacific League. The team is comprised of Benedict Tan, Patiphan Porsi, Aaron Leonhart, Wang Jing Jie, Jason Susanto, and Khalish Rusyaidee.

Impressive performance by Petrov

Petrov demonstrated his skills and potential while playing for Sengoku in the Japan Challengers League Split One from January to March. He averaged the highest rating, ACS, K/D, ADR, and kills per round in the tournament, showcasing his ability to perform against top-tier teams.

The future of Paper Rex

Petrov’s primary agents are Reyna and Jett, with occasional play on Raze as well. Given his exceptional performance with Sengoku, it is likely that Petrov will become one of Paper Rex’s key duelists if the team struggles in the VCT Pacific League.

Paper Rex will debut in the VCT Pacific League against DetonatioN FocusMe on March 26 at 4 am CT.
