Shroud reveals his requirements to continue competing in VALORANT in the upcoming year

Shroud may continue competing in VALORANT if conditions are met

Popular streamer and former professional gamer shroud has hinted that his venture into professional VALORANT play may extend beyond the Last Chance Qualifier in North America. However, this decision is contingent on the future of franchising in the region.

During a recent stream, shroud expressed his interest in continuing to play professional VALORANT if franchising becomes a reality, especially if it is based in Los Angeles, where he currently resides.

In addition, shroud mentioned that he is uncertain about his future with Sentinels, as the team’s qualification for the VCT partnership spot is still up in the air.

Shroud, a former CS:GO player for Cloud9, surprised the gaming community by returning to professional play in VALORANT as a member of Sentinels’ roster. The 28-year-old will compete with the team at the Last Chance Qualifier from August 4 to 14.

The winner of the tournament will secure a spot in this year’s VALORANT Champions event in September. Should Sentinels qualify, shroud will have the opportunity to compete with the team in Istanbul.

Shroud’s return to professional gaming has sparked excitement among fans, as he had been inactive since his retirement in August 2017 to focus on streaming full-time.
