VALORANT Coach Packing10 Departs Immortals after 3 Years

Former Immortals GM and Coach Packing10 to Depart Organization

Former Immortals general manager and coach Michael “Packing10” Szklanny will be leaving the organization at the end of January. Packing10 joined Immortals as a coach for the L.A. Valiant in February 2019, later taking on the role of manager while still coaching in June 2020. Early in 2021, he transitioned to Immortals’ VALORANT division.

Packing10 shared on Twitter, “Over 3 years ago my journey began at IMT as an AC for the Valiant. Years later I gained experience as a HC, GM, and operated multiple teams.” Despite a less successful 2021, Packing10 played a crucial role in developing players across Immortals’ Overwatch and VALORANT teams. Former players and co-workers took to Twitter to commend his ability to bring out the best in players and his genuine coaching style.

Packing10 is now searching for a new home in VALORANT for the upcoming 2022 season.

Packing10 expressed, “Immortals will always be my first home, but I am now open to new opportunities.” With Packing10’s departure, Immortals currently only has one player, Andrew “ShoT_UP” Orlowski, remaining on its VALORANT roster. It is unclear whether ShoT_UP has re-signed with the organization or found a new team. reported that ShoT_UP recently practiced with FaZe Clan’s VALORANT team.

The VCT Stage One Challengers Circuit is set to begin in February 2022. Teams will compete to accumulate points throughout the year for a chance to qualify for VCT Champions in September.
