Vikin.gg releases their Dota 2 squad

Vikin.gg Drops Entire Dota 2 Lineup After Conclusion of 2021 Pro Circuit

After the conclusion of the regular season for the 2021 Dota Pro Circuit, organizations are beginning to make roster changes. One such team, Vikin.gg, has made a bold move by dropping its entire Dota 2 lineup at once.

Vikin.gg, which entered the Dota scene in 2019, had been competing with the same core of players for over two years. The team only made one change to its roster in 2020, bringing in Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann to replace Tobias “Tobi” Buchner during the DPC season.

The organization did not provide a specific reason for this decision, but now the entire Vikin.gg Dota roster, including coach Daniel “ImmortalFaith” Moza, are free agents.

During their time under the Vikin.gg banner, the core four players Indji “Shad” Lub, Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan, Adam “Aramis” Moroz, and captain Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp achieved great success. They won 13 different tournaments, including Dota Summit 13 Online and BTS Pro Series Season Three, and placed in the top six at prestigious events like EPIC League and ESL One Germany.

“I want to thank everyone who supported and followed us on our journey,” said Seleri. “Although it may be over for now, I am confident that you will see more from us in the future.”

It is unclear whether Vikin.gg will continue to compete in Dota going forward, as the organization has not explicitly stated its future plans in the scene.
