OG secures spot at The International 10, aims for third consecutive championship

OG Qualifies for The International 10, Looking to Make History

After a thrilling 3-2 victory over Tundra Esports in the European qualifiers, OG is set to defend their title at Dota 2’s The International 10.

Despite facing elimination multiple times and playing eight games in just one day, n0tail and his team overcame their disadvantages and secured their place at TI.

For OG, this is an opportunity to make Dota history once again. The organization’s roster for TI9 became the first team ever to win back-to-back International titles, following their TI8 victory the previous year.

Missing key players JerAx and ana, who retired from competitive Dota 2, OG brought in SumaiL and Saksa to fill their spots. SumaiL had previously been removed from the team but was brought back after ana’s retirement.

Once the team takes the stage in Bucharest, it will mark the first international LAN event for OG in over two years, with their last appearance being TI9 in August 2019.

Tundra Esports performed exceptionally well throughout the event, reaching the grand finals without dropping a game. All five games against OG were closely contested, pushing the defending champions to their limits.

If OG emerges victorious at TI10, it will be n0tail, Ceb, and Topson’s third consecutive win, further cementing their legacy in Dota 2. It will also be SumaiL’s second TI win after his previous victory with Evil Geniuses at TI5, and Saksa’s first TI win.

Don’t miss the action at The International 10 as OG aims to write another chapter in their storied history in the Dota 2 competitive scene.
