Tfue Describes VALORANT as a “Casual” Alternative to CS:GO

Fortnite Streamer Tfue Isn’t into VALORANT

Tfue, one of the most popular streamers for Fortnite, hasn’t been very kind to Riot’s new FPS, VALORANT, since its beta launch. He recently continued expressing his feelings about the game.

Although Tfue hasn’t dedicated a lot of time to playing VALORANT on stream, he did stream the game for about four hours on beta launch day, with an average of 18,712 viewers.

According to Tfue, “VALORANT is like a more casual CS:GO. If you want to die to airstrikes, go play VALORANT. If you want to play a game that actually requires true skill, then go play CS:GO.”

A few days ago, Tfue called VALORANT “boring” and “slow” for his taste. However, his comments make sense considering his loyalty to Fortnite, where he continues to play the cartoonish battle royale even when other top streamers are trying out new games.

Although Tfue isn’t particularly fond of VALORANT yet, he wasn’t completely negative when talking about the game. He admitted that it isn’t all that bad.

“I mean, the game’s good. I think it’ll do well,” he said. “I just don’t see it being bigger competitively than CS.”

It’s still too soon to tell if Tfue’s analysis will come true. However, after just a few days on the platform, VALORANT has already broken records for viewership and is showing incredible potential to be a game that we’ll be hearing about for a while.
