CD Projekt treats Cyberpunk 2077 fans with free in-game weapon
Since the release of Phantom Liberty, Cyberpunk 2077 has witnessed an improvement in quality, and now CD Projekt is rewarding fans with free goodies like Chesapeake, a weapon from Barghest’s illegal stash.
However, Chesapeake does not get added to your inventory automatically. It is an Amazon Prime Gaming reward, so players need to claim a code and redeem it manually to start using it in Cyberpunk 2077.
Some players have faced a few challenges in unlocking the weapon due to bugs on Amazon’s side that may go unnoticed.
How to get the Chesapeake Prime Gaming reward in Cyberpunk 2077
To get the Chesapeake in Cyberpunk 2077, you need an active Amazon Prime membership. If you are not subscribed, you can also unlock the Chesapeake during the one-month trial.
- Go to Chesapeake’s Amazon Prime Gaming page.
- Log in to your Amazon account and choose “Get in-game content.”
- Copy the code for the Chesapeake and navigate to Cyberpunk 2077’s redeem page.
- Choose “Redeem Your Code” and log in to your account.
- Paste the code you copied on Amazon’s page and activate it.
Some players faced issues with the code, as the “copy” button on Amazon Prime Gaming’s page left out the final letters. To fix this, manually highlight the code and copy it.
