Fnatic derails the NA VALORANT hype train with an impressive win over 100T at VCT LOCK//IN

NA Team 100 Thieves Gets Defeated by Fnatic in VALORANT VCT LOCK//IN

The North American VALORANT team, 100 Thieves, suffered a crushing defeat at VCT LOCK//IN against the dominant Fnatic roster. The series started on a sour note for 100T, as they struggled on their own map pick of Fracture. Fnatic’s Leo Jannesson, on Fade, had an impressive performance in his on-stage debut, leading the team to a dominant victory. With a commanding 11-1 half on the attack, Fnatic quickly closed out the map 13-1, with all five 100T players unable to reach double-digit kills.

On Fnatic’s map pick of Icebox, player Nikita “Derke” Sirmitev showcased his skills and decimated the 100T attack with aggressive Jett play. Although 100T made a comeback on their defensive side, narrowing the score to 12-10, they ultimately lost a crucial 13th round due to a late low-health rotate and the efforts of Fnatic Shortys.

The only positive for 100T was their attempted comeback on Icebox, as they were overpowered for most of the series. Both Cryocells and stellar struggled, going a combined four-for-21 in opening duels. This defeat comes after Fnatic convincingly knocked out another North American team, Sentinels, in the first round.
