Moist Esports Joins NA VALORANT Challengers League
Moist Esports, the newly-signed team in the NA VALORANT Challengers League, has added more clout to the tier two league. The BreakThru roster, currently competing in the first split of NA Challengers, has been signed by Moist Esports. Co-owner Ludwig confirmed the acquisition, revealing that he spent $500,000 on a VALORANT team using Charlie’s money.
Previously, BreakThru competed as a team of unrestricted free agents and qualified for the NA VALORANT Challengers League through open qualifiers. Going forward, they will compete under the name “Moist Moguls.”
The Moist Moguls roster includes aproto, brawk, flyuch, sym, and thief, and is coached by former Heretics and Vitality coach, Tanizhq. Yay and Marved, the free-agent duo, are not part of the current Moist roster, despite adding Moist branding to their Twitter profiles. Nearly every member of the Moist Moguls posted a ‘contract signed’ gif.

Ludwig, co-owner of Moist Esports, has challenged Disguised Toast’s team, the other prominent streamer-owned organization in NA VALORANT Challengers, to a showmatch. He also proposed that the losing owner should shave their head.
BreakThru was one of the two free agent rosters in the NA VALORANT Challengers League. The other team, Turtle Troop, has made recent roster changes and currently has a 0-2 record. Prior to being picked up by Moist Esports, BreakThru had a 1-1 record with a 2-0 win over Oxygen and a tough loss to G2.
Moist Moguls will play their week three VALORANT match against Turtle Troops on Feb. 27 at 6pm CT.
