VALORANT player unveils a surprising Sage wall position on Icebox to catch enemies off guard

VALORANT Player Discovers New Spot for Sage’s Wall on Icebox

A VALORANT player has uncovered a clever strategy using Sage’s wall ability on Icebox. By placing the wall in the tube at the center of A Site and jumping onto it, players can gain a clear line of sight into A Main. This position allows for easy picks on unsuspecting enemies, but it also comes with its own set of challenges.

Traditionally, Sage’s wall is used as a defensive tool to provide cover and control enemy movement. However, some players have started using it to their advantage by accessing new locations and gaining better angles on enemies. In this case, the VALORANT player found a unique spot for Sage’s wall that grants a direct line of sight into A Main at the start of a round.

In a short clip uploaded by the player, they demonstrate how to place the wall in the tube on A Site and then jump onto it. This puts them in a prime position to secure kills with an Operator or other long-range weapon. However, there are a few drawbacks to this strategy.

One of the main concerns is that this position leaves players vulnerable to enemies pushing from A Belt. Most enemy teams will send at least one player from this angle when attacking the site, making it easy to pick off anyone on top of the wall. Additionally, being elevated on the wall makes it challenging to escape if you miss your shots.

While this tactic may not be suitable for every round, it can be a valuable tool for catching enemies off guard. Keep this sneaky trick in mind when you need to break an attack or maintain a lead.
