Last night, a skilled VALORANT player showcased an impressive Recon Bolt strategy for Icebox’s B site. This strategy allowed the player to scan multiple unsuspecting enemies, giving them a significant advantage.
When the attacking team is executing their strategy on the B site, they often use smokes or walls to provide cover for planting the bomb. This can create chaos and make it difficult for defenders to locate and eliminate opponents. However, the Recon Bolt strategy showcased by this player offers a temporary solution to this problem. It has the ability to spot enemies in key areas such as B Green, behind Yellow, and near the plant radius.
If the opposing team commits to the B site, you can make a strategic rotation from the A site through the defender’s spawn and launch the Recon Bolt from there. Here’s how to execute the strategy: first, position yourself in the corner above B Hut, and align the left-bounce diamond’s edge with a specific point on the structure ahead. Then, charge the Recon Bolt halfway and release it to land on the crane above B Green.
This Recon Bolt placement will reveal the majority of the area and provide valuable information about the opposing team’s whereabouts. However, if all of the enemies aren’t spotted by the Recon Bolt, be cautious of potential flankers.
The player also shared a couple of additional lineups for Icebox, including an arrow for the back of the A site and a double Shock Dart strategy for the B site orb.
