Immortals Relocates Headquarters to Great Lakes Region, Announces Expansion and Events
Immortals, a prominent esports organization, has revealed its plans to move its headquarters to the Great Lakes Region as part of a strategic repositioning and expansion. This move includes establishing a new headquarters in Detroit and hosting various upcoming events in the GLR region.
Exciting Events in Ann Arbor
One of the events planned by Immortals is the Immortals x Wild Rift “Immortals Invasion” Takeover, scheduled to take place in Ann Arbor, Michigan (home to the University of Michigan) from November 1 to 4. Additionally, Immortals will be returning to Ann Arbor two weeks later for the University of Michigan Esports LAN Event. Participants in this event have the opportunity to compete across 10 different titles and win prizes and merchandise. Ann Arbor is already renowned for hosting one of the largest SSBM events annually, The Big House.
Expanding Presence in Women’s Valorant
Immortals also announced its plans to sign a women’s VALORANT team that will operate from its new headquarters in the Great Lakes Region. This expansion aligns with the recent trend of several North American organizations, such as TSM, XSET, and Version1, venturing into women’s VALORANT. Immortals aims to join this group by establishing a strong women’s team.
It’s important to note that Immortals’ League of Legends roster in the LCS will continue to compete from Los Angeles and remains the flagship team within the organization. However, Immortals has taken a step back from CS:GO, Dota 2, R6 Siege, and the Call of Duty League in recent years. While it owns the Los Angeles Valiant franchise in the Overwatch League, the team finished last in the previous season without a single win. Immortals is also actively involved in Wild Rift and men’s VALORANT.
