BoraNija Departs from Mudgolems

Mudgolems Midlaner BoraNija Departs from Dota 2 Team

Duško “BoraNija” Boranijaševic has recently announced his departure from the mudgolems Dota 2 team. BoraNija, who has played for various tier-two teams during his three-year career, was a vital player for mudgolems. He received praise for his exceptional performances on heroes like Lina, Storm Spirit, and Snapfire, which played a crucial role in mudgolems’ success against Europe’s top teams.

Mudgolems’ Recent Performance and Roster Change

Mudgolems made a significant impact since their formation in September. Composed of experienced European players, the team managed to defeat formidable opponents, including the seemingly unbeatable Team Secret. They achieved two podium finishes in their first two tournaments, BTS Pro Series Three and ESL One Germany 2020.

However, the team underperformed in their most recent tournament, the EPIC League. Despite high expectations, mudgolems finished in last place in Division One, winning only two series in the group stage and being relegated to Division Two. This disappointing result could explain the decision to make a roster change.

BoraNija’s Departure and Potential Opportunities

BoraNija expressed his departure from mudgolems through a tweet, thanking his teammates and hinting at new opportunities. While the decision to part ways with BoraNija may seem premature considering the team’s recent underperformance, it’s possible that his impressive performances have attracted the attention of larger organizations looking to strengthen their rosters.

Although mudgolems and BoraNija have been an exciting presence in European tournaments, they will go their separate ways for the time being.
