SoNNeikO Joins Forces with iLTW and fn to Create a New Roster

Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev Makes a Comeback with New Team: Live to Win

Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev, who had been without a consistent team for months, is now back in action as he joins a new team heading into the final months of 2020.

The newly formed team, called Live to Win, consists entirely of CIS veterans who are determined to reclaim their position at the top of the region.

Team Roster

SoNNeikO, who parted ways with Ninjas in Pyjamas in July, is not the only addition to the team. Igor “iLTW” Filatov, who was recently placed on the inactive roster of Virtus.pro, has also joined Live to Win.

Additionally, Alexander “Immersion” Hmelevskoy and Vasily “AfterLife” Shishkin have left their previous teams, Natus Vincere and EXTREMUM, respectively, as they were moved to their team’s inactive rosters. They are now eager to return to competitive play.

Rostislav “fn” Lozovoi, on the other hand, does not have an active contract with any organization. Having spent most of 2020 as a stand-in for various teams, including Gambit Esports and VP.Prodigy, fn is now a part of the Live to Win stack.

The Path Ahead: Competing in November

While SoNNeikO and fn have officially joined the team full-time, Immersion, AfterLife, and iLTW are still under contract with their previous organizations. The possibility of additional roster changes exists, depending on any developments in their situations in the following weeks.

With their eyes set on competing in events starting in November, Live to Win is likely to participate in the Omega League Season 2, as well as some smaller tournaments in the region.
