Riot makes adjustments to League’s chat box in response to community feedback

Riot to Make Changes to League of Legends Chat Box Following Player Feedback

League of Legends players who were less than thrilled with the recent chat box changes will be happy to know that Riot Games is taking their feedback into account. Mark “Scruffy” Yetter, the gameplay design director for League of Legends, announced that some improvements will be made to the chat box in the upcoming patch.

What Changes are Coming?

In a recent tweet, Scruffy mentioned that the changes to the chat box will include making it wider and improving its default positioning. These adjustments aim to address the concerns raised by players.

Player Feedback and Complaints

Players were caught off guard by the chat box changes implemented in the latest patch. The box became narrower, but the text remained large. This led to many complaints on platforms like Reddit, where players found the new design “unintuitive” and questioned the need for the change in the first place.

Tyler1’s Reaction

Twitch star Tyler1 also expressed his thoughts on the new chat box during a recent broadcast. He comically shouted, “what is this?” and requested Riot Games to revert the chat box back to its original design.

As the changes will take a few weeks to be implemented, players will need to be patient until they can experience the improvements for themselves.
