Young Ho “Young” Choi Makes LCS Debut for Golden Guardians
Young Ho “Young” Choi, a mid laner from the Golden Guardians Challengers team, is set to make his LCS debut in the 2023 Spring Split. He was signed to the North American Challengers League team last year and will be stepping in for the anticipated mid laner, Kim “Gori” Tae-woo, due to visa issues.

Young Ho “Young” Choi had the chance to showcase his skills in the NA Challengers League last weekend. Despite not securing a clear victory in week one, he impressed with his performance, including a three-man Amumu ultimate as Sylas that turned the tide of a close match with 100 Thieves Challengers.
Golden Guardians Lineup for the 2023 LCS Spring Split
The Golden Guardians lineup for the 2023 LCS Spring Split features the return of Licorice, River, and Stixxay, along with the LCS debut of Gori and former 100T support Huhi joining the team. Their first match will be against the reigning Spring Split playoff champions, Evil Geniuses.
While Gori’s visa issues have yet to be resolved, he is still expected to be a part of Golden Guardians’ main roster for the rest of the Spring Split.
