The schedule for the upcoming 2022 LPL Summer Split has been released, and it’s time for Chinese League of Legends fans to get excited! The first week of the league will kick off on Friday, June 10, with some highly anticipated matches lined up.
Week 1 Highlights
The first week of the Summer Split will be shorter than the rest, consisting of only three days of competition. However, that doesn’t mean it will be any less exciting. Fans can look forward to some spicy matchups right from the start.
Key Matches to Watch
On the first day of the league, Weibo Gaming will clash against Invictus Gaming in a thrilling best-of-three series. This will be followed by a rematch between EDward Gaming and FPX, who faced off in the Spring Split playoffs.
Day two will feature another exciting series, with Top Esports, the runner-ups of the Spring Split, going head-to-head with JD Gaming. JD Gaming secured the fourth spot in the Spring playoffs after losing to Royal Never Give Up and Victory Five. Before this match, Anyone’s Legend will take on Rare Atom.
The final day of the first week will treat fans to an exciting matchup between LNG Esports and Bilibili Gaming. Bilibili Gaming recently made some surprising roster moves, trading Breathe for MSI 2022 champion Bin. They also released Uzi from the roster.
