When will Clash be back in League of Legends?

Clash Tournament Mode Returning to League of Legends

Attention League fans! Get ready to rally your teams and raise your banners as Clash, the tournament mode in League of Legends, is making its comeback later this year. Unlike its previous limited availability, this time Clash will be a permanent feature in the game.

Over the past few years, the tournament mode has undergone numerous tests in different regions of League of Legends. While it has faced some issues like bugs and crashing, the most recent global beta of Clash was well-received by the game’s community. Although not perfect, it showed significant improvement compared to previous testing periods.

During the global beta in December, Riot introduced several important changes to the tournament mode, including rolling bracket starts and a quick bug-fixing system for bracket repairs. Teams were rewarded with banners, loot boxes, and summoner’s icons for their participation in the Clash tests throughout the year.

In a recent developer update, Riot announced that the tournament mode will soon be returning to live servers with the first season of Clash starting this year. Riot’s lead producer of gameplay, Jeremy “Riot Brightmoon” Lee, expressed confidence in quickly fixing any minor issues encountered during the global beta.

The developer has also provided a date for Clash’s return: March 14 and 15. This gives fans another opportunity to try out the tournament mode before it becomes a permanent part of League of Legends.

So gather your crew and get ready for the start of the first season of Clash! It’s time to show off your skills and compete in the exciting tournament mode.
