Iceiceice and eyyou depart from Fnatic’s Dota 2 lineup

Singaporean Dota 2 Veteran iceiceice Leaves Fnatic

Singaporean Dota 2 veteran iceiceice has left Fnatic following the end of his contract, as announced by the organization today. New recruit Nico “eyyou” Barcelon, who had joined the team just a week ago, has also departed.

iceiceice’s Interest in Playing for Another Region

After spending two years with Fnatic, iceiceice has expressed interest in playing for another region during his break. This suggests that the 30-year-old Southeast Asian legend might be heading overseas once again. He previously had successful stints with renowned Chinese organizations like Team DK, Vici Gaming, and EHOME.

Possible Reunion with Former Teammate Jabz

The veteran offlaner may be looking to reunite with his former teammate Jabz, who was recently released by Fnatic. iceiceice has spoken highly of the Thai support on his stream, and the two of them played together for four years across three different organizations. With teammate 23savage heading to China as part of VG’s new roster, this path is not unprecedented.

Fnatic’s Mutual Agreement with eyyou

Fnatic has also mutually agreed to part ways with eyyou after trialing him as a hard support and captain for a week. The team’s performance in the BTS Pro Series 3 has been lackluster, failing to secure a single win despite numerous personnel changes.

The revamped roster will feature Korean offlaner Sangdon “Forev” Lee, who previously stood in for the team during ESL One Thailand. Former Geek Fam player Kenny “Xepher” Deo will be taking on the position five role for the team.
