Riot to Implement Changes to Zeri in Upcoming Patch: Improved Damage and Cooldowns with Reduced Mobility and Utility

Riot Games Adjusts Zeri’s Kit in Upcoming League of Legends Patch

In an upcoming League of Legends patch, Riot Games has announced adjustments to Zeri’s abilities. These changes aim to decrease her mobility and utility while increasing her overall damage and cooldowns.

Lead champion designer August Browning shared the details of the changes on social media. For instance, Zeri’s Q ability, Burst Fire, will have increased active damage and a buff to its passive charged auto-attack damage.

Zeri’s charged auto-attacks will no longer slow enemies.

Zeri’s Ultrashock Laser ability will receive buffs, including a one-second reduction in cooldown at all levels and a 0.1 AD ratio buff. Additionally, the ability will critically strike champions after hitting a wall, but its slowing effect will be reduced by 20% at max level.

The Spark of Zaun ability will have base cooldown reductions for Spark Surge, allowing for more mobility. However, players will experience a diminished CD reduction per hit, as it will be halved in all instances.

Finally, Lightning Crash will receive early level cooldown reductions and double the stacks of Overcharge for each enemy champion hit. Each stack of Overcharge will grant Zeri around one percent bonus movement speed instead of the previous 1.5 percent.

These adjustments will require Zeri to be more strategically positioned in the midst of the League of Legends action to optimize the use of her ultimate ability on the Rift.
