Riot Tweaks Wukong Rework with Adjustments to Passive, Damage, and Ultimate Timing

What You Need to Know About Wukong’s Upcoming Rework in League of Legends Patch 10.6

If you’re a fan of Wukong in League of Legends, get ready for some changes! In the upcoming Patch 10.6, Riot Games will be giving the Monkey King a new passive ability, adjusting his damage values, and making changes to his ultimate.

Wukong’s new passive ability is designed to encourage frequent skirmishes and give junglers more survivability during camp clears. In the top lane, Wukong will be a formidable opponent as he constantly fights to activate his new passive.

The team at Riot Games is always experimenting with adjustments, and these changes to Wukong are no exception. The goal is to create a cooler passive ability that optimizes gameplay.

Previously, Wukong’s ability granted 400% armor and regeneration when three or more enemies were nearby. Now, Wukong will receive a 100% increase in armor and regeneration for five seconds whenever he or his clone hit an enemy or large monster. This effect can stack up to five times.

Additionally, Wukong’s abilities have been tuned to shift more power from the late game to the early game. This change was made to balance his late-game power, as his clone already mimics his spells.

Furthermore, there have been changes to Wukong’s ultimate timing. The recast window has been increased from seven seconds to nine, and the lockout time between ultimate casts has been increased from half a second to one full second.

Riot Games has set Patch 10.6 as the target patch for the Wukong rework. Get ready to experience the new and improved Wukong in action!
