The popular game League of Legends has introduced a new feature called Challenges that allows players to progress in the game in a new and exciting way.

While some Challenges are easy to level up, others pose more of a challenge. In fact, according to Riot Games, only two players in the world have reached the Platinum rank, showcasing just how difficult this system can be.

Progressing through Challenges and Achieving High Ranks

In order to achieve a high rank in the Challenges system, players need to progress through various Challenges. However, as more and more players reach higher tiers, competition among players becomes fiercer as they vie to maintain their positions in the upper echelons.

The Five Categories of Challenges

Challenges in League of Legends are divided into five specific categories:

  1. Imagination
  2. Expertise
  3. Teamwork & Strategy
  4. Veterancy
  5. Collection

Each category represents different playstyles and preferences of fans, including game mode preferences, strategy, and versatility. By achieving high ranks in Challenges, players can showcase their progress through a crystalline symbol on their loading screen and profile page.

To keep track of your progression, you can hover over the frame to see the percentage of players on your server who have achieved the same rank as you on a specific Challenge. You can also view which players from your friendlist have completed the Challenge.
